These kiddos are all smiles while vacationing on the North Carolina coast.  These little cuties are already enjoying all that our great state has to offer. It doesn't stop at the beach, NC is one of the top tourism destinations in the country. You have the shore, mountains, lakes, and more. If you want a getaway, look no farther. You'll find one right here in North Carolina. Let's go!

These photos are of two of my nieces and my nephew. I took a trip to the beach with my whole family last week and my sister took these shots throughout the week. I loved how they captured each one of their characters and she was happy to let me use them for this assignment. I wanted all of the images to have similar lighting because it varied in all three images. I also wanted a bit of a washed out tone to the background to create a rustic, beachy vibe. The initial lighting was more yellow than I liked so I wanted to cool it down.

 I cropped the latter two images to create a closer image to the subject. Then I made a background layer, and a layer of just the child in the foreground. I then desaturated the background and changed the lighting as necessary.On each image, I upped the vibrance on the foreground layer, and decreased the saturation too to create a balance that worked well.
